How do I get started?
Sign up for free with the STARTER plan, choose a widget template, customize it to your needs, and publish the widget to your Staffbase intranet with one click. The entire process takes just minutes.
Do I need programming knowledge?
No! Widget Builder is specifically designed for non-developers. You can use predefined widgets without any code. If you want to adjust something, our developers are happy to help.
Is Widget Builder an official Staffbase product?
Widget Builder is an independent platform developed by JASP, a Staffbase partner. Widgets created with Widget Builder are fully compatible with Staffbase and appear natively in the Staffbase app – just like built-in Staffbase widgets. Learn more about the Widget Builder integration.
How long does it take to create a widget?
Most widgets are ready in 10–30 minutes using our templates. Custom integrations requiring API connections typically take a few hours. What would otherwise take a developer weeks can often be done in hours with Widget Builder.

Pricing & Plans
Is Widget Builder really free?
Yes! Our STARTER plan is free forever and includes up to 2 custom widgets and 2,000 active users. Perfect for trying out and for smaller teams.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes, you can switch between plans at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period.
Technical & Support
Is Widget Builder GDPR compliant?
Yes! All data is hosted in EU data centers, we are fully GDPR compliant and offer features such as audit logs, access controls, and data encryption. We also offer self-hosting on request.
How are permissions managed in Staffbase?
Widget Builder inherits permissions directly from Staffbase. Employees who don’t have access to certain content on your Staffbase platform won’t see it in the widget either. No separate access management is required – permissions stay in sync automatically.
What support do you offer?
STARTER: Community support via our forum. PRO: Priority email support. ENTERPRISE: Dedicated success manager.
What is the availability?
